Christianity Explored

CE is an informal and relaxed seven-week course.  It's for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life.  It's run by ordinary Christian people local to you and is completely free.  You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing.  You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.

Whoever you are, whatever you're thinking, CE is a place for you to explore what life's all about.  It might just be the best news you've ever heard.

Everyone needs to stop for a few hours and think about life.  There are big questions that need good answers.

  • Are there solutions to everyday problems?

  • Can there be meaning or purpose in life?

  • Is it possible to know why we are here and where we are going?

  • Why is there so much suffering and death?

  • Is there life after death?

There is an ancient book that answers all of these questions, and more. You need to know for yourself what it says.  Join us for a By this Name Bible study and take a journey through the world’s bestseller—the Holy Bible.

Neighbor's night out

Neighbor's night out is our way of connecting with our neighbors in our community.  NNO is an opportunity for us to host hundreds of members from our community for food and fun.  One unique aspect of our NNO is that we hold our Sunday morning service outdoors under a large carnival tent.  Later in the afternoon we provide food and carnival games as a way to connect with our community.  This year, Neighbor's Night Out will be held on Sunday, July 28th.  We would love to have you join us!

Easter Egg Hunt

First Baptist hosts an annual Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter.  This is a fun and lighthearted time for children to enjoy a fun tradition.  We use this time as an opportunity to connect with members of our community and point them to Jesus during the Easter season.

Global Missions

First Baptist seeks to partner with missionaries around the globe for the purpose of making the name of Jesus known around the world!  FBC presently supports 8 missionaries spread across over 8 different countries.  At First Baptist, we desire to declare the glory of our Savior through faithful involvement in what God is doing around the globe through His faithful ministers and servants.

Community Food Shelf

First Baptist Church offers a monthly food shelf to our community.  Each year our food shelf accepts a limited number of applications for families in our community who are in need of food and household items.  We able to provide theses resources free of charge and use this as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus by meeting the material needs of those around us.  Participation is by application only.  To learn more about the application process, click the button below!
